The set was created in cooperation with Templar's Gear company, which prepared the overlay, the so-called muff with molle system. By design, it was developed as a every day and combat belt for people who do not need to wear many accessories on a daily basis, and when they go to the shooting range, they need to have an orderly combat belt.
The theoretical strength of the belt fastened in the loop is 36kN (simplifying about 3600kg). On a single section of molle made of Cordura, you can hang up to approx. 3kg, with a heavier weight we recommend using a belt webbing, which can also be pulled out, between the sections of the molle, e.g. for convenient attachment of a holster.
The belt size is universal, it has a total length of about 128cm, it is fully adjustable from 60 to 120cm. If you need a longer or shorter belt, please write in the note in order summar the exactly waist size and demand of match, we will choose the appropriate length of webbing (this will extend the order to a maximum of 10 days).
Choosing the size of the molle overlay should take into account the space needed for the buckle width and webbing adjustment:
- for a waist of 82-90cm, we recommend choosing the S-76cm overlay
- for a waist of 91-98cm, we recommend choosing the M-84cm overlay
- for a waist of 98cm-120cm we recommend choosing the L-92cm overlay
You can also buy the belt itself, without the overlay, by selecting "NO OVERLAY" in the options, the price will be reduced accordingly.
Belt construction and adjustment:
The belt is made of medium-rigid plus polyamide webbing, which has quite comfortable horizontal rigidity and increased vertical rigidity, so you can carry any type of pistol and magazines on the belt without fear of breaking the tape. The ANSI Cobra 18kN buckle has a size and shape optimal for working with the tape. The correct position of the buckle is with inscriptions forward. We thread the tape so that the adjustable end of the belt is at the front. The webbing adjust is most comfortable when the buckle is unfastened. The excess of webbing you can put into the molle overlay.
Construction of the molle "muff" overlay:
The cover is made of double, laminated and glued laser cut Cordura 500. The bottom is lined with soft Velcro which increases comfort and helps sweat wick off. The set has a fairly advanced and fitted design, requires patience when inserting the belt into the overlay, the easiest way to do this is when the overlay lies flat on the floor or table. After using the belt a few times, it will be a little easier.
NOTE 1. Due to the low-volume production, individual elements of the set may be slightly different from the ones presented in the pictures, the differences may concern, for example, the labels or sewing method. We listen to the comments of our customers and improve small elements without affecting the overall functionality of the product.
NOTE 2: Despite the use of specialized sewing, the best threads on the market with certified strength, certified buckle and certified tape, it is forbidden to use the belt for safety and rescue purposes. No tests have been carried out on the runway to issue the "CE" safety certificate. This is primarily due to the requirements of the PL / EN358 standard, so that the belts have a minimum width of 8cm over the entire length or 10cm on the lumbar section, which automatically excludes the use of such a belt for trousers and carrying holsters and pouches.
NOTE 3: Buckles are tools and are shipped by the factory in bulk packaging without protection. There may be minimal colorization errors, small scratches or micro padding. We eliminate major defects by sending buckles to the factory. We try to make the belts of the highest quality also in aesthetic terms.
